Eilas Photography

Eilas is a name inspired by my two beautiful children: Eisley and Silas.

Photography has been a lasting passion in my life. Beginning at age 15, it was the only thing I wanted to do.

I finished photography school in 2003 just before the birth of our first child and from then on I knew that I wanted to photograph children and their families.

I LOVE what I do and love being a small part of my client's lives in creating memories for them.

I am a native Tennessean and live in Franklin with my amazing husband and our crazy kids.

Marcus and Sara ~ Wedding ~ Nashville, TN Wedding Photographer

This was definitely a fun wedding!

I was so impressed with Sara because she had expressed to me before the wedding how important it was to her that the weather be nice and to have pictures done outside.

Unfortunately, we got a cold and wet day for the wedding day, though, so I thought I would show up to a very disappointed bride.

But, Sara was nothing but happy and was so great about the change in plans and didn’t let it affect the joy of the day at all.

And it was a JOYFUL day!

I’ve rarely seen a bride and groom who obviously had as much fun as Marcus and Sara did.

I was honored to be able to capture it for them.

Boulineau Family ~ Brentwood, TN Family Photographer

I totally love this family!

Through the years I have watched their beautiful girls grow into the image their wonderful parents have displayed for them.

They’re still so little, but they are an amazing example of children being raised in a loving and Godly home. They are precious.

They always have such beautiful outfits that their mother usually makes for them and their smiles just melt you.

I am honored that I got the opportunity to photograph them again.

Jacob and Sarah ~ Engagment ~ Nashville, TN Engagement Photographer

Today is all about Jacob and Sarah since I am just about to leave to shoot their wedding.

I’m hoping the weather cooperates since they have such a beautiful outdoor location planned.

I had such a fun time shooting their engagement photos a few weeks ago and thought this was the appropriate day to share them with you.

They’ve had a very long engagement and waited patiently for this day, so I’m hoping it’s everything they want.

Adelaide ~ Newborn ~ Brentwood, TN Newborn Photographer

When most people become parent’s for the first time, the thing I hear most often is how they

couldn’t possibly imagine loving another child as much as their first one. I have even heard fear on that subject from these parents who are

afraid that if they had a second child, they wouldn’t love it as much as their first born.

It’s never true.

I love watching my friends and clients become parents for the first time, but I think I enjoy the second child even more.

It’s a feeling of completion and contentment that is lacking in the whirlwind of the first child. And you get to see your first baby become a big sibling. It’s an amazing time.

I love this family and the newest addition to their crew. She was a bit early and I think she just couldn’t wait to get her life started with her loving family.

I’ve watched as they got married, started new careers, had their first son Henry, and now their perfect little daughter.

Gorgeous family, aren’t they?!?!
