Eilas Photography

Eilas is a name inspired by my two beautiful children: Eisley and Silas.

Photography has been a lasting passion in my life. Beginning at age 15, it was the only thing I wanted to do.

I finished photography school in 2003 just before the birth of our first child and from then on I knew that I wanted to photograph children and their families.

I LOVE what I do and love being a small part of my client's lives in creating memories for them.

I am a native Tennessean and live in Franklin with my amazing husband and our crazy kids.

I love it when my client’s are just free to let their kids act like…. kids.

It’s hard enough to get children to sit still for pictures, which is why I generally just follow

them around and shoot whatever they’re doing. But, this can stress some parents out

because they want that one good family photo. So, we try what we can.

Mason was not interested in having his picture taken at all. He was interested in the bumblebees

flying over our heads, though, and I got many shots of him pointing at them.

My favorite shots, though, came at the end of the shoot when his parents let him have a melting red Popsicle and just let him make a mess of himself. It was so fun!

Thank you, Lackey family, I really enjoyed meeting you all. Mason just stole my heart!
