Eilas is a name inspired by my two beautiful children: Eisley and Silas.
Photography has been a lasting passion in my life. Beginning at age 15, it was the only thing I wanted to do.
I finished photography school in 2003 just before the birth of our first child and from then on I knew that I wanted to photograph children and their families.
I LOVE what I do and love being a small part of my client's lives in creating memories for them.
I am a native Tennessean and live in Franklin with my amazing husband and our crazy kids.

What I love most about photography is capturing unplanned moments.
I don't pose people or use fancy props.
I usually ask that my clients just ignore me completely and interact with each other.
I don't have big equipment or assistants, just me and my camera.
I work on location, outdoors, at whatever interesting or pretty spots I can find.
I'm up for anything, so if you have any interesting ideas or favorite spots, let me hear it!
Maggie is such a happy and sweet baby girl!
I love getting to photograph her and her sweet family.
She has found a new facial expression that she loves to use because it inevitably causes you to laugh.
She certainly makes it easy for me to take adorable pictures.
