The Music City Marathon was this past Saturday it’s a pretty big deal here in Nashville. About 30,000 people ran in the half, and full marathons that lasted around 8 hours for some people.
New Hope Academy hired me to photograph the 60 runners they had participating in the half-marathon. It was a bit hard to find their group among so many others, but I was able to travel to a few mile markers and capture a few of them as they passed. At the finish line they had set up a tent where they recovered from the run and cheered for each other as they came in. It was a bit hot, but an altogether amazing day!

A victory cigar!!

This is his beautiful daughter.

She’s saying, “To God be the glory!” Amen.

I photographed their wedding a few months ago. Aren’t they sweet?

A much deserved foot soak.

The last to arrive, and definitely the most enthusiastic!
