Eilas is a name inspired by my two beautiful children: Eisley and Silas.
Photography has been a lasting passion in my life. Beginning at age 15, it was the only thing I wanted to do.
I finished photography school in 2003 just before the birth of our first child and from then on I knew that I wanted to photograph children and their families.
I LOVE what I do and love being a small part of my client's lives in creating memories for them.
I am a native Tennessean and live in Franklin with my amazing husband and our crazy kids.

What I love most about photography is capturing unplanned moments.
I don't pose people or use fancy props.
I usually ask that my clients just ignore me completely and interact with each other.
I don't have big equipment or assistants, just me and my camera.
I work on location, outdoors, at whatever interesting or pretty spots I can find.
I'm up for anything, so if you have any interesting ideas or favorite spots, let me hear it!
I have loved watching Mia grow and seeing her personality develop.
She is the perfect mix of each of her parents and has the sweet personality of both of them.
She played around her yard and showed me all her favorite play places, and her favorite boots.
